Best footwear for driver training?

💬 General Discussion

Hi everyone, I've just been accepted onto driver training and wanted to ask what footwear people recommend? I need something comfortable for long shifts but also meets safety requirements. Also, do TOCs provide specific guidelines on this?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Magnum safety boots are excellent. Comfortable from day one and meet all safety requirements.

+1 for Magnum. I've had mine 2 years and still going strong.

Most TOCs give you a list of approved footwear. Check with them first before buying.

Doctor Martens are popular too. Good support and last ages.

Don't cheap out! You'll be on your feet all day. Good boots are worth the investment.

Caterpillar boots too if you want something different. Similar quality to Magnum.
