GROUP assessment day advice needed

🧠 Assessment Tips

I've got my GROUP assessment coming up next week and I'm pretty nervous about the group exercises. I'm fine with the individual tests but the teamwork stuff worries me a bit.

Has anyone been through this recently? What are they looking for in the group exercises?

The key is balance - contribute but don't dominate. They want team players, not mavericks.

Be inclusive. Make sure quieter people get a chance to speak. They notice that.

Don't interrupt! Even if you think you have a great point, let others finish.

Stay positive even if you disagree with someone. "That's an interesting perspective, I see it slightly differently..."

Body language matters too. Look engaged, make eye contact, show you're listening.

@rookie - what sort of group exercise is it? Problem solving? Discussion based?

It's a problem-solving exercise where we have to rank items for survival.

@rookie - NASA survival exercise? Classic! For those, consensus is more important than being "right".
