What to wear to driver interview?

🎯 Interview Experiences

I have my first driver assessment coming up and I'm unsure about the dress code. Is it suit and tie, or smart casual?

Don't want to be underdressed but also don't want to look like I'm trying too hard if that makes sense!

Smart casual is fine. I went with shirt and trousers (no tie) and it was about right.

I wore a suit and felt a bit overdressed. Better that way than underdressed though!

Most TOCs are pretty practical about this. Clean and tidy is what matters most.

Dark trousers, smart shirt, polished shoes. You won't go wrong with that.

@commuter.champ - what did you go with in the end?

Went smart casual - chinos and a button-down. Felt comfortable and looked professional.

Nailed the interview too, so the outfit must have worked! 😄

And clean shoes! They notice the details.
