Get to know the test

A clear starting point.

Traffic scenes will flash for 1 second each. You must observe and memorize details about vehicles, signs, pedestrians, and hazards. After the flash, you will answer multiple choice questions about what you saw. This test measures your observational overview and short-term memory.

How the practice works

  • Traffic scenes flash on screen for just 1 second
  • Memorize as many details as possible
  • After each flash, answer questions about what you saw
  • 15 scenes per mock test - ~10 minutes total

A few things to try

  • Scan the entire scene systematically - don't focus on one area
  • Look for: vehicles, signs, pedestrians, hazards, road conditions
  • Trust your first impression - you only get a quick glance
  • Practice improves your observational pattern recognition
